John HOWE

John Howe was born in 1957 in Vancouver, Canada. After finishing High School, he moved to France in 1976.He attended the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg in France, where he gained a Diploma in Illustration.

He currently lives in Switzerland with his wife, Fataneh, who is also an illustrator, and his son, Dana.

His works have been featured in several Tolkien Calendars and on Posters Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the publication of The Hobbit and the Centenary of Tolkien's birth.
